Alivira OXY-T spray (oxytetracycline) is a broad-spectrum, topical antibiotic spray used to manage and treat superficial wounds and localized bacterial infections in pets and livestock.
INDICATIONS
- Skin and Wound Infections: Treats superficial bacterial skin infections, abrasions, lacerations, and skin burns.
- Post-Surgical Care: Protects surgical sites (such as castration or amputation wounds) from secondary bacterial infections.
- Hoof & Claw Conditions: Effectively treats foot rot, scald, and digital dermatitis (particularly in sheep and cattle).
- Udder & Teat Lesions: Used topically for infections and excoriations on udders and teats.
ADMINISTRATION
- Prepare the area: Clean and remove any dead tissue, dried secretions, or debris from the infected site.
- Shake the container: Ensure the aerosol or spray bottle is shaken well before use.
- Spray the site: Hold the container about 15 to 20 cm (6 to 8 inches) away from the animal.
- Apply evenly: Spray the affected area for 1 to 2 seconds until there is an even distribution of the medication.
Important Safety Guidelines:
- Usage frequency: Typically applied 1 to 2 times a day until complete healing is achieved.
- Avoid contact: For external use only. Do not spray in or near the eyes, nose, or mouth.
