Alivira AMOXYCURE LA is a broad-spectrum, sustained-release antibiotic designed to treat bacterial infections IN cattle, sheep, pigs, dogs, and cats.

INDICATIONS

• Respiratory Tract Infections: Including rhinitis, pneumonia, bronchopneumonia, and secondary bacterial complications linked to viral diseases.
• Gastrointestinal Infections: Such as enteritis, colibacillosis, and salmonellosis.
• Urogenital Tract Infections: Including cystitis, metritis, endometritis, vaginitis, and leptospirosis.
• Skin & Soft Tissue Infections: Such as abscesses, cellulitis, wounds, and foot rot.
• Joint and Navel Infections: Including arthritis and omphalitis.
• Specific Ruminant Conditions: Such as mastitis and necrobacteriosis.
• Prophylaxis: Prevention of post-surgical infections.

ADMINISTRATION

• Standard Dose: The dosage is based on body weight, typically expressed as a specific amount of amoxicillin per kilogram. The concentration of the suspension determines the volume required per weight.
• Frequency: As a long-acting formula, a single injection often provides treatment coverage for 48 hours. If symptoms persist, a follow-up injection may be administered after 48 hours
• Cattle, Sheep, & Goats: Administered only via intramuscular (IM) injection.
• Dogs & Cats: Can be administered via either subcutaneous or intramuscular injection.
