ADMINISTRATION

Cattle: Administered by intravenous (IV) or deep intramuscular (IM) injection into the neck.

Administration Safety: Avoid intra-arterial (into the artery) injections in horses, as they can cause severe local reactions.
Withdrawal Periods (Cattle): Specific, varying withdrawal periods for meat apply to IV and IM administration. There is a “zero” day withdrawal period for milk.
