SELVO BH Levofloxacin & Bromhexine Oral Solution

Alivira SELVO BH (levofloxacin & bromhexine) is a veterinary oral solution used to treat severe respiratory, alimentary (digestive), and systemic bacterial infections in livestock and poultry.

INDICATIONS

For poultry (broilers, layers, breeders) and livestock (cattle, sheep, goats).
Respiratory Infections: Treatment of Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD), acute/chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, infectious coryza, and mycoplasma.
Gastrointestinal & Systemic Diseases: Effective against coli-bacillosis (E. coli), salmonellosis, and fowl cholera.
Specific Outbreaks: Acts as a trusted intervention for managing Haemorrhagic Septicaemia (HS) outbreaks.

ADMINISTRATION

Dosage depends on the species and the severity of the infection. Always ensure the solution is thoroughly dissolved in clean water, and typically treat for 3 to 5 consecutive days:

Poultry: 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight. Alternatively, dissolve 1 ml per 1 to 2 liters of drinking water.
Sheep and Goats: 1 to 2 ml per 40 kg of body weight, administered once daily.
Withdrawal Period: Be aware of farm safety withdrawal times before consuming meat or eggs from treated animals to avoid drug residues in food (e.g., typical withdrawal is 5-8 days for meat and 7 days for eggs).
