Alivira AVROMEC Fac injection (ivermectin & chlorsulon) is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic solution used to treat and control both internal and external parasites in cattle.
INDICATIONS
Gastrointestinal Nematodes
- Adults and Larvae: Targets species including Ostertagia, Haemonchus, Trichostrongylus, Cooperia, Nematodirus, and Oesophagostomum.
- Specifics: Covers inhibited Ostertagia larvae and Toxocara vitulorum.
Lung & Subcutaneous Nematodes
- Lungworms: Treats Dictyocaulus viviparus (adults and Stage 4 larvae).
- Subcutaneous: Treats Parafilaria bovicola.
Liver Flukes (Trematodes)
- Fasciola Species: Treats adult stages of Fasciola hepatica and Fasciola gigantica.
- Mites (Scabies): Treats Psoroptes ovis and Sarcoptes scabiei var. bovis.
- Grs (Nokra/Myiasis): Controls Hypoderma bovis, H. lineatum, Dermatobia hominis, and Chrysomya bezziana.
- Lice & Ticks: Treats blood-sucking lice and certain tick species like Boophilus microplus.
ADMINISTRATION
- Standard Cattle Dose: 1 ml per 50 kg (110 lbs) of body weight.
- Volume Limit: Doses exceeding 10 ml should be divided and injected into two different sites to minimize tissue irritation.
- Temperature Adjustment: If the solution is cold (below 5°C / 41°F), the viscosity increases and makes injection difficult. Warm the bottle in your hands to about 15°C prior to use.
- Withdrawal Times: Do not administer to dairy cows producing milk for human consumption, or to pregnant cows within 60 days of calving. Cattle must not be slaughtered for meat within 66 days of treatment.
