ADMINISTRATION

Alivira ALVIFEN PLUS Fenbendazole Bolus is administered strictly by mouth (orally) as a single therapeutic dose.
  1. Restrain the Animal: Securely restrain the livestock animal (such as cattle, sheep, or goats) to avoid injury to yourself and the animal.
  2. Use a Dosing Gun / Balling Gun: Place the bolus into the holder of a clean, properly calibrated balling gun.
  3. Insert the Tool: Carefully introduce the gun into the side of the animal’s mouth, sliding it gently over the back of the tongue.
  4. Release and Swallow: Depress the plunger to deliver the bolus directly to the back of the throat, which forces the animal to swallow it as a single dose. Ensure the animal has fully swallowed the medication before releasing it.
