INDICATIONS

  • Liver Flukes: Highly effective against both mature and immature stages of liver flukes (Fasciola hepatica and Fasciola gigantica) down to one week of age.
  • Gastrointestinal Roundworms: Controls major stomach and intestinal nematodes (e.g., Ostertagia, Haemonchus, Cooperia, and Trichostrongylus species).

  • External Parasites: Targets specific arthropods and mites (e.g., Psoroptes) and nasal bots.

ADMINISTRATION

  • Accurate Weighing: Calculate the dosage based on the animal’s exact bodyweight. Underdosing can promote drug resistance.
  • Shake Well: Thoroughly shake the container for 5-10 seconds to ensure the medication is properly mixed.
  • Dosing Gun or Syringe: Administer using a calibrated dosing gun or a suitably sized oral syringe.
  • Drenching Technique: Restrain the animal’s head securely. Insert the nozzle into the side of the mouth (over the back of the tongue) and depress the plunger to slowly deliver the liquid.
Dosage Guidelines
  • For Sheep and Goats: A common dose rate is 1 ml per 5 kg of bodyweight.
  • For Cattle: A common dose rate is 1 ml per 10 kg of bodyweight.
  • Target Species: Typically used in cattle, sheep, and goats.
  • Dosage: It is administered as an oral drench (usually at 1 ml ÷ 5 kg or 1 ml ÷ 10 kg of body weight, depending on the exact formulation and manufacturer guidelines).
  • Withdrawal Periods: Because of the active ingredients, animals treated for meat or milk consumption must undergo strict withdrawal periods (which typically range from 27 to 30 days for meat).
