Alivira CEFANEX (cefquinome) is a veterinary broad-spectrum cephalosporin designed to treat persistent and recurrent bacterial infections in livestock.

INDICATIONS

• Cefanex is formulated for use in cattle, buffalo, calves, goats, sheep, and pigs.
• Mastitis: Treatment and management of clinical and recurrent mastitis, including acute E. coli mastitis with systemic involvement.
• Digestive Tract Infections: Enteritis and bacterial diarrhea, including calf E. coli septicemia.
• Respiratory Infections: Pneumonia and related bacterial respiratory conditions caused by susceptible bacteria.
• Reproductive & Urinary Tract Infections: Conditions such as metritis and pyometra.
• Skin and Foot Conditions: Treatment of digital dermatitis, as well as various skin and soft tissue infections.

ADMINISTRATION

• Routes: Intramuscular (deep into the muscle) or Intravenous (directly into a vein).
• Frequency and Duration: Once daily for consecutive days as determined by a veterinarian.
• Target Animals: Cattle, Buffalo, Calves, Goats, and Sheep.

• Preparation: The product is typically presented in a 500 mg vial and packaged with a sterile syringe and needle for administration.
