INDICATIONS

Cattle
  • Gastrointestinal Roundworms: Effective against both adult and fourth-stage larvae of species including Ostertagia ostertagi (including inhibited larvae), Haemonchus placei, Trichostrongylus axei, Cooperia oncophora, and Oesophagostomum radiatum.
  • Lungworms: Treatment of adult and fourth-stage larvae of Dictyocaulus viviparus.
  • Cattle Grubs: Controls the parasitic tissue stages of Hypoderma bovis and Hypoderma lineatum.
  • Sucking Lice: Eradicates infestations caused by Linognathus vituli and Haematopinus eurysternus.
  • Mange Mites: Treats scabies mites including Psoroptes ovis and Sarcoptes scabiei var. bovis.
Swine (Pigs)
  • Gastrointestinal Roundworms: Controls large roundworms (Ascaris suum), nodular worms (Oesophagostomum spp.), and intestinal threadworms (Strongyloides ransomi).
  • Lungworms: Treatment of Metastrongylus spp..
  • Lice & Mites: Eradicates sucking lice (Haematopinus suis) and mange mites (Sarcoptes scabiei var. suis).
Sheep, Goats, and Camels
  • Nematodes: Treatment of lungworms and stomach/intestinal roundworms like Haemonchus contortus.
  • Nasal Bots: Specifically controls all larval stages of Oestrus ovis in sheep.
  • Mange Mites: Controls body and ear mange mites (Psoroptes ovis, Sarcoptes ovis).

ADMINISTRATION

Cattle, Buffalo, Camel, Sheep, and Goats
  • Dosage Rate: 200 μ g of ivermectin per kg of body weight (typically 1 mL of the solution per 50 kg of body weight).
  • Application Site: Inject under the loose skin in front of or behind the shoulder.
  • Important Note: If administering a volume greater than 10 mL, divide the dose between two different injection sites to prevent discomfort or soft tissue reactions.
Swine
  • Dosage Rate: 300 μ g of ivermectin per kg of body weight (typically 1 mL per 33 kg of body weight).
  • Application Site: Inject into the loose skin in the neck, immediately behind the ear.
  • Needle Size: Use a 16- or 18-gauge needle for sows and boars, and an 18- or 20-gauge needle for young piglets.
