Alivira BAKTERAL is a broad-spectrum antibiotic indicated for the treatment of systemic bacterial infections, septicemia, and secondary bacterial infections complicated by viral diseases in cattle, sheep, goats, and horses.
INDICATIONS
- Respiratory Diseases: Pneumonia, bronchopneumonia, and strangles (“Gurm”).
- Gastrointestinal Infections: Colibacillosis, E. coli enteritis, and salmonellosis.
- Reproductive Tract & Soft Tissue Infections: Mastitis, metritis, and other soft tissue infections (when used as a supportive treatment alongside localized therapies).
- Hoof and Joint Issues: Foot rot (Piyeten) and pododermatitis.
- Other Specific Diseases: Actinomycosis, listeriosis, and pyelonephritis.
ADMINISTRATION
- Horses: Administered slowly by the intravenous (IV) route.
- Cattle, Sheep, and Goats: Administered either intramuscularly (IM) or slowly intravenously (IV).
- Dogs and Cats: Administered subcutaneously (under the skin).
